David Fenn is the managing partner of Employer Defense Group. He provides an aggressive defense for his clients and believes in working quickly to move files to conclusion. He believes that this is best achieved through working closely with both employer representatives and claims administrators alike.
By maintaining effective relationships with clients, David successfully brings difficult claims to closure quickly and economically by helping to bring out the best result for all parties involved and ensuring that employer, administrator and advocate all work in unison toward the same goal. David’s unique ability to relate to individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences makes him a particularly effective advocate.
Above all, David values his family relationships. He loves spending time with his wife, Natalie and their children Jude, Willa and Gray.

David has dedicated his professional career to the practice of Workers’ Compensation law. His first job as an attorney was with Grancell, Stander, Reubens, Thomas and Kinsey, a large workers’ compensation firm with many high-profile clients. David worked well with his colleagues and quickly drew from their experience and developed his own skills.
Thereafter, David accepted a position at a boutique firm, the Law Offices of Nguyen & Gribble. The smaller firm setting allowed for a more intimate relationship with adjusters and employers. This also lead to a more hands-on approach to each claim from beginning to end.
David’s experience at both a larger and smaller firm have honed his abilities both in court and in working with clients. This has lead to a greater appreciation for the value of close relations and allies among attorney and carrier or employer. Ultimately, this has allowed for a more effective strategy in both settlement strategy and litigation practices.
