About
Michelle brings many years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, with approximately 80% of her background concentrated on defense work and the remaining 20% on the applicant side. Early in her career, she had the unique opportunity to work at an applicant firm specializing in representing professional athletes—a particularly meaningful experience for her as a retired professional softball player. More recently, she held a position with a third-party administrator, where she focused on lien resolution during active claims, managed settled cases, audited panel attorney work, and served as an adjuster. These roles have provided her with a well-rounded and comprehensive understanding of all facets of workers’ compensation.
In parallel with her professional career, Michelle devoted many years to coaching competitive girls’ softball, focusing on athletes aged 18 and under who were pursuing college scholarships—both academic and athletic. She began coaching when her daughter was six years old, following her own retirement from professional softball. What started as a way to remain connected to the sport grew into a deep passion for mentoring young women and preparing them for the demands of collegiate athletics and academics. Seeing each of her athletes earn scholarships and follow their dreams was profoundly rewarding. When the last of her players received a scholarship, Michelle felt it was the right time to step away from coaching.
